Position Summary
The Enrollment Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the enrollment operations team, communicating timely and accurately to family queries, supporting the Hardship Transfer team with requested tasks, and supporting the operations team to execute all enrollment launches throughout the calendar year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond accurately and promptly to enrollment questions that come in via email, phone, text, chat and any other future method of communication NOLA-PS may utilize in the future;
- Support the Hardship transfer team by assisting with communications between families and schools, helping to ensure submission of required documents from schools and families and other parties when applicable, monitoring application status to ensure timely completion of follow-up, verifying continued attendance for student post HTR, coordinating with other departments to re-engage truant students post HTR;
- Assist the Enrollment Operations team in planning and executing each launch of an enrollment phase, including helping families in the Family Resource Centers as needed and pivoting from normal duties to focus on a new stream of work to assist with an enrollment surge.
- Attends staff and other district meetings as necessary; and
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- 2 years of customer service experience in a school setting preferred

- Strong written and verbal skills;
- Able to multi-task;
- Team player with a demonstrated willingness to step outside of normal operations for the success of the team;
- Self-starter who is motivated to help others.

Salaries are determined by educational background and/or relevant years of experience.

Performance Evaluation
The employee will be evaluated based on the above position using either two methods: via COMPASS or a NOLA-PS evaluating instrument. If the employee holds an Educational Leadership certification, he/she will be evaluated via COMPASS to ensure renewal of certification.
