As Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing leading-edge digital solutions that span multiple functions, like Product, Engineering, QE, UX, MarTech,
and Data. You will help shape technology strategy, roadmaps, evolve and future-proof our platform. The ideal candidate will be motivated and proactive with a strong technical
background, leadership, and communication skills; and a track record of delivering high-quality software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps, and governance frameworks aligned with the retail business goals. Seek the buy-in of business and engineering stakeholders as necessary.
- Conduct research, analyze, design, and deliver enterprise architectures tailored for the retail industry, encompassing infrastructure, resiliency, security, governance, automation, and integration.
- Evaluate new technologies and determine their applicability in delivering SaaS for digital retail operations.
- Provide architectural guidance and collaboration across stakeholder organizations to ensure solutions meet fashion retail industry requirements.
- Lead cloud readiness assessments, application modernization initiatives, and cost-benefit analyses for retail systems, including resiliency and scalability.
- Design deployment architectures for enterprise services, user experience, and systems/applications operational excellence to achieve optimal performance, fault tolerance, redundancy, and scalability in retail environments.
- Oversee the integration of omnichannel delivery methods and mobility experiences for seamless retail customer experiences.
- Work with implementation teams to successfully take concepts to delivery.
- Collaborate and contribute towards a culture of innovation, excellence, pushing for the adoption of good engineering practices, managing waste, and technical debt to a minimum.
- Embrace calculated risk-taking, necessary to promote business goals as a top priority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of overall technical experience with at least 5 years leading teams as a solutions architect.
- Previous experience in driving composable commerce solutions for B2C digital commerce capabilities on web/mobile/app platforms.
- Use of AI/data-centric approaches to scale customer journeys and digital back-end systems.
- Proven track record of collaborating on high-level abstract problems, business or technical, and turning them into successful features.
- Strong systems engineering background, distilling simple solutions for complex technical challenges, spanning define, design, develop, deploy, and operate phases.
- Experience working with distributed team members both onshore and offshore.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships easily and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Well-versed with UX methodologies, back-end integrations, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, automation to build low-touch systems.
- A coach and mentor who can demonstrate the craft of technology and show the way to remove roadblocks.
- Experience developing capabilities with leading ecommerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Cloud. Having a good understanding of helping make Buy vs Build decisions.
- Integration experience with incorporating third-party products/vendors to enhance ecommerce capabilities.
- Experience with major cloud providers – AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries – React, Vue, Next.js.
The base salary range for this position is $235,000-$250,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
This position is based onsite in Beverly Hills.
