Job Description: Google Workspace Architect OverviewAs Subject Matter Expert for Google Workspace at Rivian, the Google Workspace Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Google Workspace solutions for our organization. The Google Workspace Architect must exhibit leadership of the platform, collaborating with all stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess the current infrastructure, and develop strategic plans to optimize and enhance our Google Workspace environment. In this role they will develop and maintain robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives.
Scope of Work- Design and plan Google Workspace cloud solution architecture with security, compliance, performance, reliability, cost-optimization, and longevity as the cornerstones of decision-making.
- Develop and maintain Google Workspace policies and best practices.
- Act as a key contributor in the development and ongoing observation of success criteria, performance indicators and services.
- Analyze and optimize technical and business processes using Google Workspace technologies and services.
- Collaborative, problem-solving mentality and behavior
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud architecture and Google Cloud solutions to meet all requirements

- 3+ years of experience of related experience, including 1+ years designing and managing solutions using Google Cloud
- Associate Google Engineer certification

- Written communication: Create comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting resolutions, audit results, user training, and for general collaboration with team members.
- Scripting and automation: Proficiency to streamline and automate routine tasks and workflows
- Change management: Knowledge of principles and practices to maximize user adoption
- Migration experience: Previous experience having migrated to or from Google Workspace or a similar cloud-based productivity and collaboration platform
- Certifications
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
- Professional Google Workspace Administrator certification
