The Senior Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) brings 10 years of proven experience from related businesses or organizations as well as system integration and technology experience. They consult with the client to define needs or problems, conduct research, perform studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise and make recommendations on business and technical solutions based on hands-on experience solving similar business problems. They can utilize knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.
In this role, the SME will be operating in the role of an Enterprise Architect (EA). The Enterprise Architect is responsible for working with the Business Subject Matter Experts, business owners, senior technical staff and the PMO to define the technical implementation for requests received through the Intake Process defined for the CEDC.
The EA, in this role will be responsible for coordinating the technical definition for the solutions that will be presented to the business for the solution to the business problem that has been presented to the CEDC technical team.
This solution will contain the high-level technical solution, the assumptions that have been made about the solution and a high-level estimate for the completion of the solution. The EA will coordinate with the Tech Lead assigned to the project to provide the required deliverables.
In this role the individual performing this role will also be responsible for leading the Tech Lead team. The Tech Lead team, within the CEDC, is responsible for establishing and enforcing technical standards and compliance.
The individual performing this role will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Tech Lead team.
