About the Job
Savvee Consulting Inc is seeking to hire an Enterprise Architect to support our federal client in a hybrid work model of onsite/telework. The client is located in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must be experienced in managing an Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, have a strong understanding and experience of EA, and able to provide exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Essential Functions
- Serving as the subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (EA)
- Overseeing and managing the client's business architecture, technology architecture, application architecture, and data architecture
- Assisting in the planning, development, and execution of the agency's EA strategy, consistent with EA guidance supplied by the government, and the latest EA industry standards.
- Establishing and maintaining line-of-sight traceability between strategy, business, and infrastructure layers of the architecture
- Ensuring the enterprise architecture can be tailored and integrated with IT investment decision making processes
- Providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized application and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
- Facilitating and participating in business and IT alignment through a collaborative, supportive, and consultative manner, driving OCIO digital business strategies and balancing innovation and growth
- Analyzing business and operating models, market trends and the technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprises business strategy, direction, and architecture
- Constructing technology-enabled business and operating models and provides viable options and visibility into execution issues
- Running technology experiments to create new products and services and integrate the best of these into steady-state operations for the organization
- Validating IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks, where applicable
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
