The organization is responsible for defining, deploying, and driving alignment and progress against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization and improves process health.EE Systems & Architecture Senior Lead Analyst – C14Data and Systems Architect will augment the Solutions Architecture function- which is responsible for designing comprehensive solutions to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements, ensuring that systems and applications are robust, scalable, and efficient.The Systems Architecture senior lead analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and is highly skilled and has expertise in leading the designing, deployment and management of systems supporting cutting-edge technologies including Big Data, AI/ML/GenAI and DevOps/MLOps. They will have hands on experience with the data architecture and support the data control, governance, and compliance for the EE Tech.Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in the other teams.Responsibilities:Design and architect end-to-end solutions that integrate Big Data, AI/ML, and GenAI technologies with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.Lead the integration of Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).Design infrastructure solutions for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics that support large-scale workloads.Implement best DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline development and deployment processes.Develop and implement architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for AI/ML model deployment, data pipelines, and infrastructure.Support the CDO requirements off EE, CDGP compliance and other related initiatives.Lead the exploration of emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company’s technology stack and business strategies.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years of industry experience in systems architecture with a Data processing, Big Data, AI/ML, & DevOps focus.Experienced in designing large-scale, data-driven architectures in complex environments.Experience with various cloud platforms and architectures like single/multitenant etc.Expertise in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase) and platform.Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn) & experience with GenAI tech.Strong, working knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Understanding of software development practices, microservices architecture, & API design.Experience with data storage solutions (e.g., NoSQL, SQL, data lakes) and pipeline orchestration.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions.Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills- with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Education:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant Certifications are a plus.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
