Enterprise Systems Engineer (University Grad) Responsibilities:
- Combine open-source, in house, and commercial technologies to build services that will have an impact on the business
- Work in a heterogeneous environment containing diverse operating systems and applications, and make them work well together
- Apply modern engineering methodologies such as infrastructure as code, Linux container orchestration, and software-defined storage to scale Meta's rapidly growing Enterprise infrastructure
- Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Meta infrastructure to solve problems for Enterprise customers
- Be an escalation point for issues related to the team’s products
- Produce systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented, and train others to help with operations
- Work closely with Product Managers to ensure the team is building what customers really need and broadcasting out to the organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- Experience full stack development
- Experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Hack (or PHP), React, Python, or Go
- Experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

- Experience building services
