About the role
As a CBRE Entitlements & Development Program Consultant, you will provide support to the Project Execution Teams on projects from Due Diligence through issuance of Building Permits.
The key areas of focus include effective, efficient, and timely utilization of web-based project systems to accurately capture reporting from Project Stakeholders including Architects; Subconsultants, and Landlord/Developers.
Candidates should be well versed in all facets of land use entitlements including site design and planning, local municipal requirements, and utility service applications.
What you’ll do
+ Collaborate with Real Estate stakeholders to collect necessary documents to initiate project Due Diligence. This may include Landlord Work Letters, site plans, and coordinating site/building access.
+ Participate in coordination calls with Architects, Client Stakeholders, and Landlord / Developers to track progress in Entitlements and Permitting applications.
+ Participate in project Due Diligence review meetings to determine complexity of Entitlements/Permitting for each project. Partner with Project Managers on an effective strategy to streamline jurisdictional approvals.
+ Engage with Architects and Third-Party Vendors to effectively track and expedite dry utility applications including electrical service, solar interconnection, and fiber.
+ Monitor Architect’s project updates, milestones, and escalate potential risk. Partner with Data & Analytics team to develop effective reporting.
+ Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. Other duties as assigned.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
· Review business requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross-initiative dependencies and ensure consistency of approach.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
· Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP or CMM preferred.
+ Direct experience processing planning applications, building permits or other jurisdictional entitlements is preferred.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while leading multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages. Retail Construction or Financial/Professional Services Sector experience is beneficial.
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. is required. Smartsheet or QuickBase experience is beneficial.
· Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
· Knowledge of project management software programs preferred (e.g.: Kahua, Procore, OVP, Autodesk)

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Entitlement & Development Project Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Entitlements & Development Project Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
