Role Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for a Entry Level Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger, including but not limited to accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in timely month/year end close and preparation of financial statements with support schedules.
- Prepare and send customer invoices
- Assist in processing cash payments from customers and analyzing Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collections.
- Calculate Fixed Assets depreciation, additions, and disposals
- Assist in state, VAT, and quarterly tax filings
- Maintain Corporate Credit Card program through online software reporting
- Capturing vendor invoice data for processing payments and credit memos
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Prepare documentation and supporting materials for US GAAP and non-US compliance audits.
- Collaborate with other teams to support operational and financial goals for the company.
- Continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
- Perform ad-hoc projects/task as needed.
Educational Requirements:
Possess an undergraduate degree in accounting or business
Working towards CPA certification
Preferred Experience:
- One to two years of general ledger accounting experience supporting management with financial statements and financial analysis
- An understanding of US GAAP and business analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- XLookups, Pivot Tables, Data manipulation
- PowerBI and Power Query experience a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Business Central
- Expensify - Expense reporting software
