Entry Level Accountant from TemPositions Group Of Companies

A very stable and industry leading company is seeking an entry level staff accountant to join it's team on a temp to perm basis. This is a terrific opportunity to have a highly visible role within the accounting department and work closely with the controller who will personally train you from an entry level accountant to a staff accountant. The controller will entrust the staff accountant with more responsibilities as each task is accomplished and learned. Responsibilities Include: 

Work directly with the Controller in preparing all financial statements.

Assist in the month end close. 

Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Report any variances. 

Prepare Bank reconciliations. 

Prepare journal entries 

Assist Accounts Payable Clerk resolving difficult issues for payment.

Sage a plus 

Strong excel skills required.

Accounting Internship experience highly desired
