To support our growth plans Janler is looking for an Entry-Level Mold Maker Apprentice to join its apprenticeship program.

If you qualify for this exceptional opportunity, Janler will continually challenge and reward you. As a Janler apprentice you will:
- Work with the best team of experienced Mold Makers in the industry. Participate in projects at all phases to learn the use of all mold making tools and equipment.
- Learn various grinding, milling, polishing, assembly, EDM and fittings on complex projects.
- Work from approved blueprints and under close supervision of the assigned project team leader.
- Participate in production of injection molds and tooling to meet customer requirements.
- Verify accuracy and functionality of work at all stages to maximize personal skill-building and ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Use various measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, optical measuring machine (Optimar), gauges and all inspection equipment.
- Be trained to use Bridgeport milling machines, CNC milling machines, manual and automatic grinders, jig grinders, polishing machines, including use of polishing stones, surface plates, EDM machines, cranes and lift trucks.

Apprentice Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required with an emphasis in technical classes preferred.
- Strong math skills, including trigonometry and geometry.
- Ability to take direction from others.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be willing to participate in a formal mold making education program.
- Some mold making/shop experience a plus.
