Duties, Responsibilities & Other:KCI Technolovies is hiring a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with experience in underwater inspections, commercial dive operations, and marine engineering projects to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in marine engineering and diving projects, including tender and diver duties.
- Assist with underwater inspections of various structures such as bridges, dams, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls.
- Conduct condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects.
- Support structural design and analysis of marine structures.
- Prepare technical reports related to inspections and design work.
Preferred Experience and Certifications:
- Experience in underwater inspections, commercial dive operations, and marine engineering projects.
- Structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspection.
- Inspections or design work related to bridges, waterfronts, and dams.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain in 1 year is required
- Commercial Diving (ADCI) Certification is required
- National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification (preferred).
- TWIC card (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Valid driver’s license.
