YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
You're responsible for collaborating with your culinary team to create tasty meals for diners and maintain a clean kitchen environment. No two days are the same as you help wash and prepare fruits and vegetables, weigh and measure various ingredients, and help prepare meals while following recipes and food quality standards. You evenly portion the food and serve it to diners with an upbeat attitude. Food hygiene is always at the forefront as you sanitize kitchen surfaces, clean utensils, and safely wrap up and store food. You take pride in delighting diners while expanding your culinary skills!
Here's what you need to become an Entry-Level Food Service Worker:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to carry pots, pans, and food and properly store them in the designated areas
- Ability to maintain a clean working space
