Entry Level Junior Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Entry Level Junior Accountant

We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to the Accounting Team
• General ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable
• Code Invoices, Post Payments
• Record journal entries, prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in monthly and quarterly closing entries
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and process bank deposits
• Coordinate and assist with audits as needed
• Process accounts payable invoices and process vendor payments
• Additional projects as needed

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years experience in a Corporate accounting setting
• Excellent Technical accounting skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• ERP Software system exposure a plus
• Excel Skills
