A machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. The technician ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

DETAILED SUMMARY:  

• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems in machines. Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Repair or replace defective parts, such as gears, bearings, motors, sensors, and other components. Perform both minor and major repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Vocational training or certification in diesel technology or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
