Mortgage Admin. Assistant I

Schedule: 

Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30am

Basic Purpose:

Support Loan Officers in processing mortgage applications by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing documentation for accuracy and compliance. Serve as the primary contact for members, assisting with inquiries and guiding them through the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist Loan Officers with documentation and ensure mortgage application accuracy. 

·       Review loan packages for completeness and compliance with regulations. 

·       Prepare files for underwriting, including gathering necessary verifications and reports. 

·       Identify and resolve issues in applications, including potential fraud checks. 

·       Serve as a member point of contact, providing assistance and responding to inquiries. 

·       Support mortgage origination and handle moderately complex requests. 

Qualifications:

·       Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments, preferably in financial institutions. 

·       Knowledge of real estate lending systems and mortgage documentation. 

·       Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

·       Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

·       Proficiency with financial systems, word processing, and spreadsheets. 

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or as part of a team. 

·       Strong numerical skills for performing financial calculations.
