Entry Level QC Tech - Front Nights - Jireh Semiconductor

POSITION SUMMARY

The OQC Quality Engineer will work closely with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure internal quality issues detected at OQC are addressed. The OQC Engineer will also work closely with customers to address quality concerns and perform root cause analysis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the OQC team to identify issues related to the manufacturing process.
• Lead continuous improvement of the OQC teams to reduce manufacturing defects.
• Have good understanding of all processes related to semiconductor manufacturing
• Support manufacturing improvements to reduce defects
• Display strong ownership of the OQC process to maintain good quality performance
• Identify tool requirements required to maintain and improve OQC performance
• Work with Jireh Customers to identify and address customer quality issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• BS or MS degree in electrical engineer, physics, chemical engineering, material science, or other related disciplines
• 3+ years working experience with all process functions related to semiconductor manufacturing
• 3+ years' experience in the use of quality control tools, SPC problem solving, root cause analyses, incoming quality control, corrective and preventive action.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• 3+ years' experience work with cross functional teams
• 3+ years' experience in training
• 3+ years' experience with all standard business software applications
• 3+ years' experience in leading small teams
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power-point, Minitab; other computer skills a plus
