About the Role: We are looking for Electrical Technicians, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians, and Machinists to join our organization. These three critical skilled trades support all aspects of asset construction and maintenance in our facilities. The Associates in this function have skills, ingenuity and experience that contribute to product development, prototyping, continuous improvement and environmental stewardship. In these roles, each associate will be a skilled, self-motivated, service-oriented individual and will provide support for our manufacturing operations.
These roles will be located in Elkton, Maryland or Newark, Delaware.
Pay and Benefits:
About the Role: We are looking for Electrical Technicians, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians, and Machinists to join our organization. These roles will be located in Elkton, Maryland or Newark, Delaware.
Pay and Benefits:
- $24.50/hr - $35.00/hr
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night and weekend shifts

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, evaluating effectiveness (content and frequency) and making necessary changes following our quality system guidelines
- Troubleshoot and repair facility and production machinery and equipment
- Document and sign off on completed maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Foster and maintain a positive and safe working environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help foster a culture of quality
- Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships while being self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach
- Manage contracted services to support equipment repairs, calibrations, and/or maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants and contractors to enhance systems design and improvement equipment reliability
In addition to the above, depending on the specialty,
Machinists will
- Build new equipment and modify existing equipmen
- Lead complex machining projects from start to finish
- Program / operate CNC equipment including mills and lathes
Electricians will
- Access, troubleshoot, and enhance PLC programs playing a key role in our technological advancements
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using drawings, manuals, and your expertise, while collaborating with process and design engineers to enhance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Multi-Craft Technicians will
- Conduct routine inspections to spot potential problems before they escalate, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation every day
- Install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in manufacturing and lab environments, playing a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of excellence
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associate's Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Electrical, or Power Plant Technology upon starting at Gore
- Strong desktop computer skills
- Strong, clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Flexible to cross train and perform in multiple trades
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while managing complex projects
- Ability to work from drawings and follow written procedures
- Ability to read and use OSHA, NEC, NFPA codes
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using AutoCAD
