Job Title: Entry-Level Staff Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our construction company in Walton Hills, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to start your accounting career by gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic industry. MUST have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or economics. This is a fully in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Help with monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Support senior accountants with budgeting and financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in final stages of completion).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
