About the Job
We are urgently seeking an Entry-Level or Junior Structural Engineer to join our client's team, focusing on the preparation of construction drawings for structural steel documents. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging industrial and manufacturing projects across the United States. From large, heavily loaded facilities to warehousing and cold-storage segments, the successful candidate will be involved in diverse projects ranging from industrial to hospital, higher education, municipal wastewater, and commercial sectors.

- Develop BIM modeling and drafting skills, assisting in the creation of BIM models and structural engineering drawings, primarily using Revit.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers from other disciplines, and design-build contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
- Provide construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to resolve issues and maintain a positive team attitude, ensuring efficient and productive collaboration.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus on Structures.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience producing structural designs for major projects.
- Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing facility design.
- Knowledge of Trimbles Tekla Structural Design (TSD), Autodesk ROBOT software, and Bentley RAM Elements.
Hourly Range:
- $28/hr. - $38/hr.
- Monday- Thursday (7:30 am- 5:30 pm)
- Friday 7:30 am- 11:30 am
- 6 Month temp to perm
