International Motors LLC. has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Structural Test Engineer position in Production Validation.
The Structural Test team is responsible for Road Load Data Acquisition, Full Vehicle Durability, Vehicle Articulation and Strength & Durability Tests. These activities include data acquisition at our proving grounds and public roads for analysis and setting up physical tests.
The candidate will co-ordinate, design, set up, and execute physical testing and generate the corresponding engineering reports.The candidate will align with the Design and Analysis teams to ensure the tests supports the overall validation plan. Weekly traning will be provided on best practices from across the industry. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities may include a combination of the following:
- Setting up data acquisition system and collecting data
- Analyzing data to support CAE and physical testing.
- Test fixture design and fabrication
- Using hydraulics and pneumatic equipment to setup physical tests
- Activities may include:
- Fabrication
- Fixture Design
- Fixture Construction
- Electronics
- Programming - Arduino, Excel, VBA
- Pneumatics
- Sensors
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
OR
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
