Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is actively seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join the AECOM Water team in our East Region. Positions are located in Florida, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Come be a part of our growing Water Market Sector, which includes Drinking Water, Wastewater, Conveyance, Tunnels, Dams & Reservoirs, Industrial Water + Wastewater, Watershed & Ecosystems and Coastal Water! _This position is expected_ _to start in Spring/Summer 2025._ **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. + Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. + Prepare engineering-related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids. + Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within the Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD MEP. + Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member. + Water/Wastewater treatment evaluation and design. + Pump station evaluation and design. + Water distribution system hydraulic modeling, analysis, and design. + Sewer collection system evaluation and design. + Stormwater modeling, analysis, and design. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + B.S. in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related field. + Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. **Preferred Requirements:** + Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred + Capable of using a spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software + Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and Hydrologic/Hydraulic models) + Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment, and demonstrate growth potential as well as a desire to learn + Detail-oriented while still able to understand/comply with the big picture/goals of a project + Ability to multi-task + Strong logic skills and writing skills + Documents time and effort accurately + Good communication skills + Flexible – can adapt to shifting priorities/work schedules + Can take direction from others and in turn can provide guidance to others **Additional Information** + Relocation is not offered for this position. + Sponsorship is not offered for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
