Environmental Attorney - Gpac

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Attorney to join our practice. We are a leading law firm dedicated to environmental law and sustainability. Our team is passionate about protecting the environment and advocating for clients in various industries, including energy, real estate, and manufacturing.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental law, regulatory compliance, and litigation. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to advocating for environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on environmental regulations, compliance issues, and risk management strategies.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, negotiations, and litigation related to environmental matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental laws and policies.
• Draft and review contracts, permits, and legal documents related to environmental issues.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to develop strategies for compliance and sustainability.
• Stay current on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes affecting environmental law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in West Virginia
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in environmental law or a related field.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations, including NEPA, CERCLA, and RCRA.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
