About the Job
Our client, a leading manufacturing facility located just a few miles west of Miami, specializing in grey iron foundry operations. With a strong focus on environmental compliance, they are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Title V regulations and experienced in working with government agencies on environmental compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead environmental project activities, including site
- investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans.
- Compliance Strategy: Develop strategies to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and hazardous waste management.
- Environmental Risk Assessment: Identify and advise on environmental risks associated with plant operations.
- Sampling & Monitoring: Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air, land, and water pollution.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze environmental data to ensure regulatory
- compliance and prepare reports for management and agencies.
- Regulatory Evaluation: Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring all operations comply with the latest standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Title V compliance and hazardous waste management.
- Proven track record in environmental project management.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and risk assessment.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
