Our client's Environmental Technologies group is seeking a candidate who supports the identification, qualification, and review of new products, fulfilling environmental responsibility and regulatory requirements.
Description:
This position is offered in our client's Environmental Technologies group within the Hardware Engineering division.
Our client's goal is to make products without taking from the Earth. Getting there requires focus and innovation in three key areas: climate change, resources, and smarter chemistry. Our client's Environmental Technologies group is seeking a candidate who will support material qualification to its smarter chemistry goals, and validation of conformance to energy and repairability regulations, as part of the launch of its products. You will be responsible for identifying materials for review and managing qualification workflows, facilitating samples and testing results associated with energy and repairability requirements, while establishing best practice and standard operating procedures in support of the product development process.
Your work requires you to closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers, Toxicologists, Lab Technicians, and Subject Matter Experts to support initiatives on smarter chemistry, sustainable materials, design for environment, and phase-outs of hazardous substances.
Requirements:
We're looking for a candidate with an education and early career experience in the Electrical/Mechanical/similar Engineering field, who later on in their career turned more towards a Project/Program Manager. A background working with electromechanical products is highly desired.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in a hardware product development environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, while engaging with multiple activities simultaneously
- Passion for environmental sustainability and user safety
- Experience in documenting process and procedures
- Proficient in productivity software (Spreadsheets, Keynotes)
- Strong communication skills and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials, and manufacturing documents a plus
- Background working with electromechanical products desired
