Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs): Leverage your 2-4 years of experience conducting Phase I and II ESAs to identify potential environmental concerns.
- Sample Collection and Analysis: Collect soil, groundwater, surface water, and air samples, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
- Field Investigations: Use your field skills to conduct soil borings, monitor wells, and groundwater sampling, with a company vehicle for fieldwork travel.
- Data Management: Maintain detailed field notes, logs, and photos to support accurate data reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply your knowledge to ensure all field activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report Preparation: Assist in preparing reports summarizing findings from ESAs and PCAs for clients and regulatory bodies.
- GIS Mapping: Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to map and analyze field data.
- Client Relations: Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders through professional, clear communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years in environmental science, property assessments, or similar fields required.
- Skills: Knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA), ASTM standards, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for clear report writing and stakeholder engagement.
