Safety, Health and Environmental Manager (SHE)
CMI is expanding, and we're looking for a Health and Safety Associate to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Safety, Health and Environmental program (SHE)
- Provide technical expertise to all departments
- Interact daily with engineers, process specialists and process leaders
- Lead and participate in the investigation of workplace incidents
- Evaluate risks and cost-effective resolve for all Occupation and Health issues including risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Requirements and Experience:
- 10 years of environmental, health and safety experience
- 3+ years managing Safety, Health and Environment Program (SHE) required
- Process Safety Management (PSM) is a must
- Management experience
- Owner representative experience
- Ability to work at a corporate level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office Skills
Education and Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in a Health and Safety discipline
- Professional credentials such as ASP, SMS, OHST or CHST
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to stoop, crawl and bend
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Other Requirements:
- Background check and potential drug screening required for the position
- Overtime and flexible working hours may be necessary based on project demands
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance
