Our client located in the Louisville, KY area is searching for a Safety Specialist to join their team.

New graduates with Internship or those with up to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Support Health and Safety operations with enforcement.
• Support managers, supervisors, and operators to achieve various goals, including an injury free environment. recordable injuries: in addition, the individual must comply with meeting all OSHA, Homeland Security rules and regulations.
• Communicate and collaborate with all departments to determine the best use of available resources to support Health and Safety processes.
• Drive Safety programs and processes for the site.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree required, Degree in Safety or related preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups
