About the Job
We are seeking an Environmental Professional Senior Project Manager for our Architectural, Engineering Construction Services (AEC Services) Assessment Services Group, located in Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston, TX.
The qualified candidate will be performing transaction-based Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and related environmental/real estate due diligence services on a wide range of property types including office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and multi-family housing.
This position requires management of multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight; a willingness to travel at least 50% of the time; exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines without exception. Our clients expect in-depth technical expertise with pro-active communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities:- Conduct Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM standards and client-specific scopes of work
- Conduct Phase I ESAs in accordance with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac requirements
- Assist in QA/QC of technical reports and Peer Review
- Analyze laboratory data and incorporate findings in environmental reports
- Where licensed and experienced, perform radon and asbestos sampling
- Assist in the preparation of asbestos and lead-based paint operations and maintenance (O&M) programs, and mold/moisture management plans (MMPs)
- Represent Blackstone to the client in a professional manner
- Other consulting project duties as assigned by senior staff
- Work from a remote-home setting with organizational support

Qualifications:- Minimum four-year environmental science, geology, biology, or natural resources/sciences-related degree
- A minimum of three years of experience performing transaction-based Phase I ESAs
- Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac experience is desirable
- Asbestos, radon and/or lead-based sampling credentials preferred, but not required
- OSHA Hazwoper training desired
- Subsurface investigation/sampling experience is a plus
- Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments according to deadlines and within budget
- Independently problem solve and work autonomously with a sense of urgency

- Advanced computer literacy on Windows-based programs, specifically MS Word and Excel
