Environmental Project Manager, Remediation
Cole Solutions (https://www.colesolheadhunt.com/) has been retained by a national Engineering & Sciences consulting firm to identify & hire this critical team member in the Denver, CO, region.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Denver operations to support site characterization and remediation projects throughout the Western United States. The ideal candidate will have proven success in all phases on project execution from proposal development through project completion. This position will assist in project and task management supporting Federal projects ranging in value up to $5 Million with additional support on state and commercial projects at sites impacted by a variety of constituents including chlorinated solvents, PFAS and metals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in project costing and proposal preparation.
- Define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements.
- Coordinate and work collaboratively with project teams in meeting project objectives

- Prepare and/or present reports, analyses including design calculations, field data results, conclusions, and cost estimates.
- Communication and coordination with Clients.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in geology or engineering with a PE or PG and PMP preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience relevant to environmental consulting with a minimum of 3 years of project management and proposal development experience.
- Proficiency in geological/hydrogeological fundamentals.
- Experience investigating and/or remediating PFAS impacted sites
- Experience in investigation and/or remediating mining sites preferred but not required
- Compliance experience preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA and Colorado rules and regulations.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour HAZWOPER annual refresher, or ability to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
- Ability to motivate team members, engage/mentor with employees, diplomacy, and delegating skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Anticipated salary range $80,000 - $130,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Possible flexibility as warranted
