About the Position: Harris Health System is seeking an Environmental Service (EVS) Operations Manager for full-time work at LBJ Hospital. The EVS Operations Manager assists in coordinating, supervising, and managing all activities within the Environmental Services department to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can effectively manage teams, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and implement operational improvements in a high-volume hospital setting.

Requirements:

• Education/Specialized Training Licensure:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Certified Executive Housekeeping (CEH) preferred
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
• Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a management role
• Communication Skills:
  • Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact)
  • Strong writing skills for correspondence and report composition
• Other Skills: Analytical, P.C. proficiency, and dictation/transcription
• Work Schedule: Must be flexible
