Under the direction of the Supervisor, Environmental Services, the Environmental Services Lead is responsible for the following:
- Conducting quality improvement inspections in areas of responsibility.
- Ensuring quality and satisfaction levels meet or exceed expectations.
- Assisting with hiring, training, and development of team members.
- Conducting training and provide guidance in safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to team members.
- Discussing team member tardiness, absenteeism, work performance, etc., with Environmental Services Supervisor while maintaining proper documentation procedures.
- Working with the team to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships.
- Complying with all safety, security, regulatory, and quality standards and procedures.
- Driving to and checking offsite buildings and Community Resource Centers (CRCs.)

1. Provide leadership, direction, and positive coaching to team members.
2. Maintain communication between team members and management.
3. Assist with the training of team members to successfully complete work assignments.
4. Report damaged or broken fixtures, equipment, and vehicles to Environmental Services Supervisor.
5. Maintain building security.
6. Ensure work quality and confirm completion with Environmental Services Supervisor.
7. Assist and provide training to new hires and team members.
8. Perform all tasks and duties required of your team (including cleaning tasks not completed by Team Members.)
9. Drive vehicles (if required) including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners to perform or travel to cleaning work.
10. Any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- In lieu of a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience is required.This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.
Key Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and valid automobile insurance required. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points.
- Travel (drive) to many locations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties in California is required.

Pay Range:USD $22.20 - USD $28.31 /Hr.
