7am-3:30pm/Full Time/ 40 Hours

Environmental Services Technician II personnel have the shared responsibility to help stop HAIs, bacteria and viruses from spreading and make a difference in every patient and healthcare workers lives.

Seeking candidates with Floor Tech experience with knowledge of floor machines (scrubbers, buffers, etc) and floor maintenance like, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing.

+ Cleans, polishes assigned areas, cleans and waxes various floor surfaces, collects and removes trash and recyclable items and deposits to designated area. + May be required to dispose of biochemical waste in accordance with policy and procedures. + Operates light power equipment and performs preventive maintenance on equipment; e.g., ensures vacuum cleaner bags are emptied regularly. + Maintains adequate stock of supplies in bathrooms and storage areas. + Assigned to clean and disinfect surgical, procedural, and specialized areas such as Sterile Processing. + Responsible for transporting waste to central waste depository and packaging biohazardous and biochemical waste to OSHA and DOT standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous environmental services or custodial experience. + Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions. + Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50-75 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
