Position Summary

Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain the hospital's patient, non-patient and public areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary and attractive condition

Job Responsibilities

- Empty, clean and reline waste baskets

- Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary assigned work area at all times

- Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, mirrors and commodes

- Assists in soiled linen pick-up

- Use microfiber and vacuum cleaner and or damp dusting ceilings, walls, vents, drapery rods etc

and all high touch surfaces

Education/Experience

- High School Diploma preferred

- Relevant experience is preferred but not required

- Able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English
