About the Job
Position Summary:
Responsible for keeping the company in compliance with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and associated EPA regulations by managing regulatory compliance programs and providing technical guidance to various departments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Monitor Cooling Towers (El Paso Stripper Method).
* Monitor components in LDAR Program (Method 21).
* Conduct Fence Line Monitoring Sampling Events (FLM).
* Conduct QQQ Inspections.
* Prepare reports on inspections.
* Notify Air Manager of any deviations from requirements.
* Maintain/Troubleshoot/Repair monitoring equipment.
* Establish Work Orders as needed.
* Coordinate repairs of identified systems with Maintenance Shop
* Maintain New and Existing Tags
* Add/Remove Components (Assist with MOCs)
* Assist with Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annual, and Annual Monitoring Schedules.
* Review and Certify Monitoring/Repair Data.
* Maintain Documents and Files.
* Assist Operations and Maintenance with Leak Detection Activities
* Obtain/maintain Method 9 certification
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Provide assistance in completing air reports
* Provide assistance within the Environmental Department as needed.
Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
Education: High School diploma required. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is preferred. Will substitute experience in lieu of education for the ideal candidate.
Experience: 1-3 years experience in LDAR operations and/or maintenance required.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). NACE PCIM Technologist, API 1169.

* Ability to demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Companys Ethics and Compliance Code of Conduct, and other Company policies and procedures and do so consistently, pass all required training courses within the required timeframe.
* Strong personal communication abilities, including integrity, trust, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills that are results oriented.
* Strong knowledge of LDAR operations and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, community members, contractors and vendors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform.
* Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
* Represent the company in a professional manner during government inspections.
* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and schedule tasks, respond well to changing priorities, pay attention to detail and demonstrate good organizational skills.
* Ability to work regular hours, as well as overtime (nights/weekends) as required.
* Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
