We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer with knowledge of end user workflows, clinical quality and population health systems and operations to provide high-quality data, reports and analysis to support division and organization decision making.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of five years' experience with BI tools, preferably Epic reporting tools such as Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench, SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports, Cubes, and Tableau.
- Minimum five years' data analysis experience with respect to identifying and defining source data using SQL.
- Experience with Population Health initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in teams supporting high visibility strategic initiatives, including process improvement, clinical initiatives, strategic business line initiatives and financial initiatives.
- Design, create, test, deploy, and maintain systems and reports to support patient care and strategic initiatives primarily related to population health and quality - including risk adjustment and quality measures and other clinical reporting.
- Audits peer reports and reviews upgrade documentation related to Clarity features and Crystal reporting to determine how best to implement changes.
- Develops and maintains a regular download schedule of quality and health plan reports from various platforms - both internal and external - to populate needed operational and financial reporting.
- Builds Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench Reports, Crystal Reports, Tableau reports, and custom SQL metrics. Writes SQL for custom SQL metrics. Writes SQL for custom SQL metrics.
- Coordinates work prioritized by business customers with Business Analysts, data warehouse and data governance teams to ensure analytics and data standards are maintained.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in areas of responsibility.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to analyze business reporting requirements and systems functionality to develop and support reporting systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences, Math, Information Systems, Statistics, related field or equivalent work experience.
- Healthcare education preferred along with demonstrated database reporting experience.
- Minimum of five years' experience with BI tools, preferably Epic reporting tools such as Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench, SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports, Cubes, and Tableau.
- Minimum five years' data analysis experience with respect to identifying and defining source data using SQL.
- Experience in healthcare clinic operations preferred.
- Certifications desired in the following Epic applications: Healthy Planet, EpicCare Ambulatory Analytics, Radar Dashboards, and Reporting Workbench, Clarity and Caboodle data models.
- Must achieve certification in at least one EPIC application within first 2 years of employment.
Pay Range:
$81,354.00 - $122,031.00

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
