ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the Epic Willow Ambulatory system, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows and enhancing patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of pharmacy processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and IT teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure the Epic Willow Ambulatory module to meet organizational needs.
- Support the rollout of new functionalities and features, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement within the Epic Willow system.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including pharmacy staff and clinicians, to promote effective use of the system.
- Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacy operations.
- Work closely with IT teams, pharmacists, and clinical staff to facilitate communication and ensure alignment of objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support ongoing Epic initiatives and system upgrades.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Epic Willow certification) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on pharmacy operations and Epic systems.
- Proficiency in Epic Willow module, along with a strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with attention to detail.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require hourly pay range disclosure: $70 - $85.
