Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance in preparing customer orders and maintaining trench safety equipment
This highly team-oriented position requires dependability, focus on safety, understanding and following procedures, and attention to detail.Excellence in this challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement opportunity into our Driver development program.What you'll do:Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rentalPerform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working orderVerify delivery tickets and returns for accuracyGreet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipmentSuggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordExperience operating medium to large forklifts preferredKnowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not requiredSome knowledge of computers and phone appsSuperior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skillsDiligent attention to safetyAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.PPE and work boots are provided by the companyThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
