Overview
Responsible for ensuring operational objectives are achieved. Distribute and receive required tools and equipment and ensure necessary maintenance is performed.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure logistical practicality and successful tool movement both inbound and outbound from other service centers.
- Arrange for tool components accordingly.
- Manage monthly parts inventory counts and tool counts for service centers.
- Plan and prioritize workshop flow to accomplish project and maintenance schedules.
- Update tool tracking database, including tool templates and settings, and use the database to allocate tool components and support equipment to maintain current asset tracking.
- Pull tool components, using ARENA, GP, and FSA programs, from inventory with sufficient time to execute tool maintenance, build, and test/setup procedures.
- Inspect tool builds, provide checkout for equipment spares, and sign hard copies of tool and equipment checkout document.
- Post hard copies of project packets, monitor project progress, and update the run tracker as projects evolve.
- Ensure disassembly, triage, and failure analysis are performed according to proper procedure and time frame.
- Generate tool parts replacement orders for damaged parts.
Experience
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or country specific equivalence and three (3) to five (5) years of logistics or pipeline industry experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Vocational training or certifications in pipeline operations preferred.

- Knowledge of inventory management including an understanding of safety standards.
- Knowledge of procurement processes.

- Ability to manage logistics.
- Ability to collaborate with safety/technical training teams and interdisciplinary teams within the organization.
- Ability to work overtime (scheduled or unscheduled, nights and/or weekends) occasionally, as needed or required to meet established customer commitments.
- Ability to speak English required.
- Ability to speak French and/or Spanish required by location.
