How You Will Make An Impact
As the Equipment and Facilities Maintenance Manager of West Coast Glass, you will lead our company to continued success by overseeing the maintenance and improvement of plant mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring high standards of equipment performance, repairs, and safety. Additionally, you will lead a team of technicians, create SOPs, and make strategic recommendations to Leadership for equipment optimization.
Oversee troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and replacement of production equipment to maximize safe and productive operations
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and scheduling strategies for the entire manufacturing process
Respond promptly during emergency breakdowns to minimize machine downtime
Manage maintenance expenses and budget, including spare parts inventory, equipment upgrades
Oversee compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures by delivering safety training
Qualifications & Success Factors
10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisor/manager role
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Strong knowledge of maintenance and preventative maintenance strategies and practices
POC, electrical, forklift or other related certifications preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish -English) required
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards (lock out/ tag out)
Available to respond to after-hour emergencies
Agile and able to serve as a role model for the organization by reflecting professionalism, positivity, and a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to coach and motivate employees
Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
