Equipment Maintenance Direct Hire - Spherion

Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for heavy equipment?

We're seeking a talented and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Mankato, MN. This is a direct-hire position offering full-time hours with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair heavy equipment components
Perform routine maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Fabricate and weld components as needed
Operate welding equipment and other tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding techniques
Experience with specific brands or models of heavy equipment
Technical certifications or licenses

Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with heavy equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Valid driver's license
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
