Equipment Maintenance Tech at ADECCO

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $17-$18 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About Us:  Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. If you are a skilled individual with a passion for maintaining assembly equipment, building boards, pallets, and ensuring smooth operations, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on assembly equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
2. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
3. Construct and maintain boards and pallets used in the assembly process.
4. Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
5. Collaborate with production staff to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance area and equipment storage.
7. Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
3. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting and repair.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and occasional overtime as needed.
9. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience building boards and pallets.
2. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
3. Certification in equipment operation and safety standards.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
