Equipment Operator, Senior - Public Works - City of Riviera Beach

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, perform semi-skilled manual labor and operates a variety of light and moderately heavy equipment in the maintenance and repair of municipal streets, grounds, and other City property as designated.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of semi-skilled manual labor in the use and operation of heavy trucks and equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A valid Florida CDL Class "A" is required.

Written and performance civil service examination is required.

This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union.

Successful passing of a background check and drug screening is required.
