Equipment Technician/Driver – Entry Level

Full-time position with benefits at locally owned and operated Ullman Energy Solutions is available at our Chagrin Falls, Ohio location. It is the ideal position for a customer focused, quick learner who wants to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. The focus of this opportunity is to ensure timely, proper installation and removal of fuel tanks, equipment repair, fuel quality, cleaning and service to Ullman Energy Solutions customers.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Assemble, deliver, maintain, and repair mobile, above ground, underground storage tanks and equipment, tank systems, and components at customer and company locations. Components may include, but are not limited to pumps/valves, electronics, and other mechanical and associated equipment.
• Inspection, detection, report and repair faulty equipment, materials, and/or unusual or out of specification conditions.
• Work and operate all vehicles and equipment safely and in accordance with all safety, company, and regulating agency guidelines at all times
• Unload truck shipments, cleaning equipment and various other tasks as needed

Qualifications – Required

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• High School degree or equivalent
• Authorized to work in United States
• Ability to be efficient in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability/willing to sit, crawl, stoop, climb ladders, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
• No drug/alcohol violations within the past 10 years
• Customer focus/willingness to serve customers and team members
• Teachable and willing to learn and use new skills

Qualifications – Preferred

• Safe and professional driving record with Class B Commercial Driver License, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• Class B with hazmat, tanker and air brake endorsement/experience
• Materials handling or crane operator experience
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic repair
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools
• Basic computer skills
• Written and verbal communication and customer service skills
