Rowe Price - Who We Are Globally diversified investment management firm based in Baltimore, Maryland managing $1.57tn in assets (as of 6/30/24) with offices in 16 countries Preeminent investment research organization that has consistently produced strong investment performance over the long term Analysts consistently recognized as some of the best in the industry Corporate culture based on diversity of thought, collaboration and development Senior management team made up of individuals with 24+ years of experience on average Role Summary Role will provide fundamental research support to our Technology, Media and Telecommunication team including the Portfolio Manager of our Communication and Technology Fund The Associate Analyst program is a three to five year structured program offering ongoing training and mentoring and is designed to develop future fundamental investment analysts Diverse responsibilities including collaboration with portfolio managers, extensive financial analysis, and company/industry related research projects Opportunity to interact with public company C-suite executives, both in our offices and in the field Daily opportunity to learn directly from our senior investment professionals, providing fundamental equity research support while learning the necessary skills to become a successful institutional investor Expectation to provide investment insight and impact the investment process beyond just number crunching Competitive compensation with significant upside potential for high performers Exceptional performers have the potential to be promoted to Equity Research Analyst  Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record required AND Strong preference for 2+ years relevant equity research experience Highly motivated, confident self-starter, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a performance-driven environment A demonstrated interest and passion for equity investing and financial markets Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large and varying date sets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Excel and financial modelling skills including previous experience building three-statement models Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis Preference for candidates who have made progress toward the CFA designation Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status) FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base salary ranges: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 for the location of: California, New York $110,000.00-$140,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C $110,000.00-$140,000.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
