We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Equity Operations Associate in ISG Equity Operations to be responsible for a wide range of functions critical to the execution and support of exotic derivatives, structured products, and equity trades.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Process transactions/tasks within coverage area
• Respond to client requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
• Follow escalation framework, taking responsibility for identifying, escalating and preventing issues
• Raise issues, question others and offer solutions/ideas
• Reconcile all positions and products on a daily basis
• Reconciliation of trading positions to Risk (RV) and Firm's books and records (TAPS)
• Review various daily reports to resolve breaks and make needed trade amendments
Qualifications

• Ability to build trust and find innovative ways to improve teamwork, functions/processes and create a positive work environment
• Understanding of business area supported, client requirements, and importance of not compromising control to comply with client requests
• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent (any discipline)
• The ability to work in a constantly changing environment; identifying where process improvements can be made
• Guardianship focused, with the ability to identify risk areas and question accordingly
Role is Hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
