Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced& ER Nurse Manager& to lead our Emergency Department team in Kearney, NE. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and possess the leadership skills necessary to foster a supportive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.

Manage staff performance, including recruiting, training, and mentoring nursing personnel.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.

Monitor patient flow and quality of care in the Emergency Department; implement improvements as needed.

Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance and support in emergency care practices.

Engage in ongoing professional development and encourage staff to pursue continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required); Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital experience, including management/leadership roles.

Experience in an emergency or critical care setting is preferred.

Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
