Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Schedule/Shift: 36 hours per week guaranteed. Days and Nights available.

Job Overview:

Express Healthcare is hiring 10 Certified ER Phlebotomist for a 16-week contract in Renton, WA. As part of the emergency room team, you will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where quick and accurate blood draws are critical to patient care. If you have strong phlebotomy skills, thrive in challenging environments, and are passionate about helping patients, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (venipuncture and skin puncture) in an emergency room setting.
• Ensure the proper collection, labeling, and processing of blood specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Work efficiently with nurses, doctors, and other ER staff to prioritize urgent patient needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families during stressful situations.
• Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions in electronic health records.
• Help maintain a calm, organized environment during emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist, preferably in an ER or fast-paced clinical setting.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control, specimen handling, and emergency procedures.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and quickly.
