Job Details
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical ability, intellectual development, psychosocial, educational and safety needs of the neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. We have an amazing and fast acting team who work together in stressful situations, always putting the patients first.
You will triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
In this role you will need to manage multiple cases simultaneously while providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs.
You will be proficient in recognizing life threatening arrhythmias and initiating the appropriate treatment.
You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
You will recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ACLS
PALS within six months of hire.
TNCC within 2 years of hire.
