**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - Emergency Department Evenings/Nights **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 3:00pm - 3:00am, Evening/Night **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Not specified **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor or Provisional - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred or PALS Instructor/Provisional Preferred **Must-Have:** - Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing - Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred - Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management and critical thinking skills - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Basic computer skills **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to reflect cultural diversity. - Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods to focus on patient goals. - Practice using current clinical standards and promote exemplary outcomes. - Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting professional care, recruitment, and retention within the healthcare team. - Participate in performance improvement processes and support shared governance at all levels. - Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and required education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce and support a healthy work environment. - Promote evidence-based practice and participate in research and performance improvement. - Comply with all healthcare system policies, standards, and code of conduct. - Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum. - Participate in developing protocols and procedures with healthcare teams to achieve best practice outcomes. - Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources. - Perform other duties as assigned.
